Between G and me, this thick shake is known as a smoothie. We'll have this any time of the day, and what I especially love about it is that we can elaborate on the toppings to suit our hangry levels.
The recipe stands or falls with the type of avocados and coconut milk you use. Get organic, ripe avocados, and use Aroy-D or Chaokoh coconut milk. If you can't find either of these coconut milk brands, you probably shouldn't try to make this recipe; it's that important. I'll sometimes add a thumb of ginger at step 2. Or a quarter of a banana and a tablespoon of peanut butter.
